This policy explains how Seed Incident UAB processes personal data when you visit this website, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, "GDPR") and the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania.

Data we process

  • Technical server logs: IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, referrer and browser type. Recorded automatically by the hosting infrastructure.
  • Your cookie choice: stored in your own browser (local storage) so that we do not ask you again on every page.
  • Audience measurement (only if you accept analytics): pseudonymous usage data collected by Google Analytics 4 — pages viewed, approximate location derived from the IP address (the full IP address is not stored), device and browser.
  • X (Twitter) timeline (only if you accept social embeds): when the feed is loaded, X receives your IP address and may set its own cookies.
  • Emails you send us: your address and the content of your message.

Purposes and legal bases

  • Server logs — security, abuse prevention and incident diagnosis. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Analytics and social embeds — understanding how the site is used and displaying our X feed. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Emails — answering your request. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to you, or steps prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

We do not sell your data, use it for automated decision-making or profiling, or combine it with other sources.

Cookies and similar technologies

No non-essential cookie or tracker is set before you give your consent. You can accept, refuse or customise your choice in the banner shown on your first visit, and change it at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Refusing is as easy as accepting and has no effect on access to the site.

Recipients

  • Our hosting provider (Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud EMEA Ltd)), as a processor, for server logs.
  • Google Ireland Limited, as a processor, for Google Analytics (if you consent).
  • X Corp. / Twitter International Unlimited Company, as an independent controller, when the X timeline is loaded (if you consent).

Transfers outside the EU

Google and X may transfer data to the United States. These transfers rely on the European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which both companies are certified, and on the Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention periods

  • Server logs: 12 months at most.
  • Cookie choice: 13 months, after which we ask you again.
  • Google Analytics data: 14 months.
  • Emails: as long as needed to handle your request, then up to 3 years after the last contact.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access your personal data;
  • rectify inaccurate data;
  • erasure ("right to be forgotten");
  • restrict processing;
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
  • data portability;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Complaints

You can lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija) (https://vdai.lrv.lt) or with the data protection authority of your EU country of residence.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 14. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website or the law. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
